Simultaneous Thermogravimetry & Differential Scanning Calorimetry / Differential Thermal Analysis
For TGA-DSC, a DSC probe is attached to the balance to perform simultaneous TGA (thermogravimetry) and DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) analysis of the same sample.
Simultaneous TGA and DSC measurements - STA - offer more information than separate measurements with two different systems.
SETARAM Instrumentation's range includes unique high temperature systems up to 2400°C and innovative coupling between symmetrical microbalance and 3D-Dimension DSC.

96 Line TGA - DTA / DSC96 LINE is a line of modular high temperature (ambient to 2000°C) and large volume thermal analyzers (drop-calorimeter, calorimeter, DTA, DSC, TGA, TMA). The large sample volume has many advantages, providing possibilities such as: - Analysis of bulky, massive and non-dissociable samples (e.g. corrosion studies of mechanical parts, etc.). - Work on mixed materials (concrete core sample, etc.). - Detection of very small variations of mass with TGA (corrosion studies on sheet steel, etc.). High Performance Symmetrical TGA System (ambient / 1750°C) | ||

TAGThe TAG Analyzers use a symmetrical balance mounted over two matched furnaces to allow for buoyancy free measurements. This allows, primarily, for almost zero baseline drift and therefore for high precision and long term experimental studies. An example is the long term oxidation of metals and specialist materials. Additionally the furnaces are easily adapted to take highly corrosive gaseous mixtures, and a fully automated gas panel allows for mixing and control for precise simulation of even the most demanding environments.
